"Friendly people and good location "
Very comfortable clean and nice hot shower. Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Good location. Cab was 200 Pesos from airport. Felt like a safe location and we enjoyed our visit. Would stay here again. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
"Meh.."
Our room always felt damp. The air conditioner struggled to keep the room cool. We kept it set to 10C and it only ever got down to 20C. Strange smells in the hallway of a chemical nature. Sounds of construction on a nearby floor. Bed was very comfy though and the room was clean.
"Discrimination and rude personnel"
Worst place to stay in Merida Very rude personnel at the restaurant they didn't allow entrance Discrimination/racism to local people Never come back The manager asked us to leave before we could ask for a reason Please do not stay at this place
"Good location, average hotel"
We stayed here for one night in December 2022. The hotel is very well located, just a couple of blocks from the main square. All around there are plenty of shops and restaurants. We stayed on the 10th floor and there was little noise. We stayed in what I think is called a "studio" room, which was quite small: not much room around the bed. Other people in our group stayed in rooms with two double beds and their rooms were quite large. Overall, the hotel was ok, but not flash.
"Wonderful Stay"
Gamma Castellano is a nice, modern hotel in a great location just a few blocks from the Plaza Grande. The rooms were large and clean. The hotel had all of the amenities at a reasonable price. Staff was pleasant and very helpful.
